It doesn't get much more western than this! Mikaila and Kyle's wedding was held on Mikailas family ranch near Okotoks, AB. The day started off nice and early with the bride and groom getting ready, separately before their first look. With the champagne flowing, the festivities had started and the vibes were high!
The day was hot, hot, HOT, as were the outfits, wide brim hats, bolo ties, and cowboy boots could all be found amongst the guests. Delicious refreshments provided by Ol' Beautiful kept people hydrated as we gathered for the ceremony.
Once everyone was seated in front of the beautiful homemade altar, Mikaila and her father made thier entrance. Watching Mikaila ride in on the horse she grew up with, with her father by her side, was probably the coolest bridal entrance ever! And the ceremony set in the beautiful prairies to follow, Ah! Chefs kiss, it was simply magical.
Bluebird skies, golden fields, and country altar made for a stunning backdrop for the final photos of the wedding party and newly wed couple.
After the ceremony everyone was hot and hungry, a shuttle bus was loaded up with guests and we all made our way to the Eau Claire Distillery and Speakeasy in Diamond Valley. This beautiful venue provided the space for speeches, dinner, and dancing which capped off an unforgettable wedding day.
